Camp Homewood is a year round non-denominational Christian camp located on Quadra Island serving campers of all ages since 1944.  There are over 150 campers enrolled every week in July and August.  Kids and adults alike come for a week to get away from their daily lives to make friends, learn a skill and enjoy nature in a safe and fun environment. READ MORE

CAMP HOMEWOOD'S - Fall Riding Lessons (CHA Certified Instructor)

Homewood is now offering English and Western riding lessons.

Classes available for kids (10+), teens, adults, and seniors.  Learn to ride, walk, trot, and canter in our indoor arena, using our seasoned horses within a safe and fun environment.  Helmets are provided. Riders MUST wear long pants and boots with a heel.

Beginner & Intermediate Riding Lessons

Who:  Boys and Girls aged 10 - 14
When: Saturday

Session 1       9:45 - 11:15am      $200 for 5 weeks (Sept. 16, 23, 30, Oct. 14,21)
     
Session 2      9:45 - 11:15am      $200 for 5 weeks (Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec. 2)


*Includes transportation from Q-cove to Homewood and back.  Students are required to catch the 9:20am ferry from Campbell River and will return on the 11:45am ferry from Quadra. 


Mid-Week Riding Lessons

Adult Riding Lessons Ages 18 and older          $400 for 11 weeks    
   Tuesday 10:00 - 11:30am  (Sept. 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14, 21, 28)

Home School Riding Lessons 
Ages 10 - 14      $360 for 10 weeks
   Thursday 2:00 - 3:30pm  
(Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 23)

Children's Riding Lessons Ages 10 - 14          $360 for 10 weeks
   Thursday 4:00 - 3:30pm
 (Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16, 23)

**UPDATE: Work Bee**

Our September 'Work Bee' went very well.  We had approximately 40 people come out to help us clean up camp and get it ready for our Off-Season.  Many tasks were completed and goals were reached.  Thank you so much to everyone who came and helped!!
